Methodological information
Table description: The supply table shows the supply of goods and services by type of product. It consists of three parts: the production matrix, the imports (cif:cost, insurance and freight) and the valuation adjustments. The production matrix shows the domestic output at basic prices, by products (rows) and by industries (columns). The supplementary rows at the bottom part of the matrix, separate the total output of industries to market output, output for own final use, and other nonmarket output. Imports (cif) are classified by products (rows) and are also broken down according to geographical origins (intra EU, extra EU). The supplementary rows for cif/fob (cif:cost, insurance and freight/fob:free on board) adjustments on imports and for direct purchases abroad by residents, are added at the bottom part. Total domestic output at basic prices and imports (cif) sum to the total supply at basic prices. The valuation columns of trade and transport margins and taxes less subsidies on products are added to total supply at basic prices, to achieve the transformation into purchasers’ prices.
